The menu reads like a love letter to classic American flavors elevated with thoughtful, savory details. Imagine biting into their smoked brisket sandwich, where tender, smoky meat melds perfectly with a fresh bun, or savoring the rich and comforting brisket stew that wraps you in warmth with every spoonful. Their Coulotte Cut Top Sirloin and New York Strip steak options are cooked to juicy perfection, each bite bursting with deep, smoky undertones and natural beefy goodness.
For a more casual snack, the seasoned French fries with fragrant rosemary and the crisp chicken tenders dip into flavorful sauces create a satisfying crunch and zest that keep you coming back for more. Don’t miss the 12 potato skins — a classic bar favorite packed with melty cheese and savory toppings. Salads like the Cobb and Caesar bring a fresh contrast, while indulgent dishes such as the clam chowder and shrimp dinner salad provide a rich, creamy reprieve from the grill’s hearty offerings.
Customers repeatedly rave about the genuine warmth and attentiveness of the staff, with Chrissy’s shout-out to waitress Tamara highlighting a level of friendly, personalized service that elevates the entire dining experience. The ambiance strikes an inviting balance—casual yet spirited, with an unmistakable buzz on Friday and Saturday nights when live local bands turn up the volume and the dance floor ignites. While the music may crescendo late into the evening, it’s part of the venue’s charm, drawing enthused partygoers who thrive in the energetic environment.
The upstairs area is a delightful surprise for those who enjoy a bit of nostalgia and friendly competition, featuring a pool table and a shuttle board reminiscent of classic ‘70s game rooms. This adds a unique layer of entertainment to an already lively scene, making Coyote’s a go-to spot not just for the food, but for the full night out experience.
Whether you’re seeking a relaxed spot to watch the game, indulge in expertly prepared American classics, or dance the night away to live music, Coyote’s Bar & Grill delivers on all fronts. This is a place where the food comforts like home cooking, the drinks flow generously, and the atmosphere wraps you in a community of good times and great company.
Come for the menu, stay for the camaraderie, and leave with a renewed appreciation for what a local bar and grill can truly be.
So I’ll start with the only the two negatives is sometimes unless you catch a server or bartenders (but that are amazing) eye because it’s self seating it might take a minute to get a menu and stuff like that. Also, the music on Friday and Saturday night after 9pm can be a bit loud but other than that, everything about this place is perfect and what you want. Like I said the crew is amazing I normally get a brunch server named Tamera has been my server during 11-2pm multiple times, LOVE her , but it’s not “fake friendly “ just real nice friendly ppl. But I mean all the servers are super friendly just don’t take it personal if they are busy and you’re not treated right away… Daily soups, daily specials for dinner , amazing barbecue just a very good overall place nothing is perfect but it’s give or take and as far as a local place that has good food consistently and has an excellent staff that gets it done once it’s happening is really rare and I commend everyone that works here
Stopped by on a Friday night and the place was hopping live local band on stage, plenty of seating with a bonus patio. Upstairs is a pool table and unbelievably a shuttle board table just like the ones in the 70s. The bar was busy but the wait was minimal, overall this is a great place to go on a Friday night. The other patrons were very social. The dance floor had been on it whenever the music was playing. The outside patio was a party in itself. There was a fire table and tiki lights as was a good area to socialize.
Nice casual dining sports bar with the occasional live music. Everything that I have eaten here so far has been great! In general the service is good, but it can be a little slow when they are busy.
Tamara! We love you girl! Best waitress EVERR! They put delicious rosemary on the fries and man oh man. The chicken always cooked good and seasoned well.
When I first visited, I ordered the beef stroganoff and mac and cheese (add brisket) without any expectations, thinking that since it was a pub, they wouldn't put that much effort into the quality of the food, but they were very delicious. The brisket was tender and tasted as good as Matt's BBQ. So this time we had New York Strip to try another dish. We had the New York Strip and the Dinner Salad. We were seated on the patio, but there weren't too many cars passing by at that time6 , so the noise wasn't that bad. I will try different dishes again. (9/12/2022) I have one complaint. We came on Saturday because it said that Prime Rib was served on Fridays and Saturdays. However, the server said, "Prime Rib will be served at 4:30 PM." We were looking forward to it. If there is a start time for serving, it should be stated. We had the Brisket Platter and Cobb Salad instead. It was hidden under the sweet potato fries, but the Brisket was so big and I was surprised. The Brisket itself was a bit dry on its own, but the original sauce made it very juicy and delicious. The salad was also surprisingly generous portion and I couldn't finish it. (9/24/2022) We enjoyed the Brisket Stew, Mac & Cheese Dinner, and Potato Skins with beers (Boneyard RPM IPA, Range West IPA, HH Topcutter IPA) and a cocktail (Sweet Melon Coyote's Tea). For dessert, we had the Lemon Lush with coffee. (7/25/2024) 12/13/2024 (Fri) We had the Brisket Stew ($12), Coyotes Fajitas with Salsa, Beans, and Rice ($14), Top Sirloin with Caesar Salad ($24), Rip City IPA ($7.75), and a Hazelnut Martini ($9.50). The fajitas came with tortillas, beans, and rice, making it a hearty and filling meal on its own. Everything was delicious, and we were completely satisfied with our lunch!
Nice place. I ordered the half rack of ribs. The meat was dry, and the cornbread was good. The mash potatoes were really good. The beans was flavorless, and the apple sauce was extremely sweet.
